Design and construction of a custom split mechanical keyboard featuring an ergonomic angled design, hand-wired matrix, and programmable firmware. The project combined CAD design, 3D printing, electronics assembly, and microcontroller programming.
The keyboard features a unique split design with angled key wells for improved ergonomics, custom 3D-printed case components, Cherry MX mechanical switches, and a hand-wired matrix connected to an Arduino-compatible microcontroller running QMK firmware for full programmability.
